ROSGEO accomplished the first stage of creation of the central laboratory base in the Republic of the Sudan

JSC Zarubezhgeologia (a part of ROSGEO State Holding Company, Moscow) has successfully finished the first stage of creation of the central chemical analytical laboratory in Khartoum. The Client is the Ministry of Mineral Resources of the Republic of the Sudan.

Modernization of the laboratory is planned to be carried out in two stages. The contract for the first stage implementation was signed in October 2016.

Within the frames of the contractual conditions, the specialists of Zarubezhgeologia visually inspected, audited and assessed the efficiency of the lab equipment required for creation of the chemical analytical laboratory intended to perform a wide range of studies with the use of up-to-date technologies, and issued the recommendations for the base structure and geochemical testing procedures. The final report has been submitted to the client.

Stage two shall include the supervision of the laboratory facilities installation and commissioning, acceptance, testing and assessment of qualitative, quantitative and precision parameters of the equipment, and personnel training. The contract for implementation of this part of project will be signed in the near future. Commissioning of the laboratory enabling a full cycle of geochemical tests is scheduled by the end of this year.
