Hydrogeology of PKGE to estimate underground drinking water supply in Leningrad region subsoil

Hydrogeology experts are estimating the underground drinking water supply in the subsoil of the Leningrad Region. In addition to the supply, hydrogeologists also have been researching the chemical composition of the groundwater. Last time, these measurements were taken 50 years ago.

The works will be carried out until mid-September, and in the winter, the experts will start compiling hydrogeological maps. Thus, all the water in the Leningrad Region will be registered by the State, as required by the Federal Subsoil Act.
