JSC North-West PGO (Saint Petersburg, a member of Rosgeo state holding) completed mapping for the Shardozerskaya area (sheets Р-37-IX, XV).
The object is located in the Plesetsky administrative district of the Arkhangelsk region. The study area is 7,616.2 km2.
The Customer is with A.P. Karpinsky Russian Geological Research Institute (VSEGEI) Federal State Budgetary Institution.
- “A series of gold mineralizations was identified within the sheet area”, Oleg Vasin, the managing director of JSC Rosgeo explained. “There were conducted field and analytical studies and office studies of all the findings”. The result is a set of geological maps with digital models (GIS-format) for sheets Р-37-IX and Р-37-XV.
The maps been approved by the scientific and editorial board of the Russian Federal Agency on Subsoil Use and proven for publication. The inferred resources of gold were estimated within the project by P3 category in quantity of 17.8 tons.
