Sergey Gorkov spoke about the plans for Rosgeo’s development at the extended meeting of the Russian Board of the Ministry of Natural Resources

Sergey Gorkov, the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo, participated in the extended meeting of the Russian Board of the Ministry of Natural Resources devoted to the results of the Ministry's work in 2018 and tasks for 2019.

Dmitry Kobylkin, the RF Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, in his welcoming speech, noted that the Russian geological exploration development would be one of the priorities in 2019, and the approval of new Rosgeo’s strategy should play an important role here.

"Our present task is to make a new sustainable business model and strategy," S. Gorkov outlined. "The integrated business model should be based on the predictability of the state order, and also on the integration of services in the partnership with the RF major subsoil users and companies. Special attention will be paid to our work both in the Arctic and on overseas markets, considering the fact that Zarubezhgeologiya has a sufficient amount of information accumulated during the Soviet period, and significant experience that has been gained in recent years. Of course, we need to further improve our efficiency, and, first of all, the efficiency of business processes. We will also train the personnel and increase the competence based on the experience of the older generation. I am sure that the next year Rosgeo will show a significant qualitative improvement in its development."
