Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 15, 2021 – Rosgeo and the Arabian Geophysical and Surveying Company (ARGAS, Saudi Arabia) today signed a Cooperation Agreement within the framework of the International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference ADIPEC-2021. The agreement was signed by Sergey Gorkov, Director General and Chairman of the Governing Board of Rosgeo, and Moath Al Rawi, Chief Executive Officer of ARGAS. The signing ceremony was attended by Khalid Nouh, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARGAS. 

Sergey Gorkov, Director General of Rosgeo, said: "I am confident that by combining the competencies of our two highly professional teams, we will be able to introduce innovations and set new standards in performing geophysical and geological operations at the global level". 

Moath Al Rawi, Chief Executive Officer of ARGAS, commented: "The agreement on the cooperation with Rosgeo is aimed at providing comprehensive integrated solutions for geological exploration and geological and geophysical surveys in Saudi Arabia for development of the Kingdom's natural resources as a solid economic foundation for our economy".

The cooperation agreement covers maritime, terrestrial and transit geophysical operations, including collection, processing and interpretation of the data; geological exploration for solid minerals, including electric exploration, aerogeophysical, gravimetric and magnetometric surveys; geological and technological mapping; geochemical and engineering studies. The parties agreed to carry out the joint work both in Saudi Arabia and in other countries. 

Earlier, in October 2021, within the framework of the visit of Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the parties signed an agreement on technical support of joint projects through Zarubezhgeologiya (a subsidiary of Rosgeo).
