Sergey Gorkov, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo, was elected Chairman of the Russian-Emirates Business Council (REBC) at the session held on December 19, 2019.
Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation nominated the candidate of Rosgeo's Director General for the position of REBC Chairman, after the session of the Russian-UAE Inter-Governmental Commission held in October 2019 in Abu Dhabi.
The Russian-Emirates Business Council was established by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The Council's goals are to develop business relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Russian and Emirates businessmen, to promote Russian business onto the UAE market, and to attract UAE investments in Russia.
